Hooker Wayne Godwin has signed a new three-year contract that will keep him at Bradford until the end of the 2011 season.
Godwin, 25, has missed only one game since joining the Bulls at the start of this term but has played second fiddle to Terry Newton and was linked with a return to his first club Castleford.
"I just wanted to get back to enjoying my rugby again while proving to Macca (coach Steve McNamara) and Bradford what I'm all about," said Godwin, who has also played for Wigan and Hull.
"For whatever reason, it's just not worked out at my last two clubs over the last couple of years and I wanted to get settled and stay at a place where I'm happy and I couldn't be happier than I am here."
McNamara said: "We're delighted. Wayne came here initially for 12 months with a view to seeing if he liked us and we liked him but he's been everything we could have asked for."
