Veteran Scottish keeper Douglas, full-backs Maybury and Clapham plus former Fulham striker Elvis Hammond have all been told they are free to find new clubs.

Douglas (36) has played for Dundee and Celtic, Maybury (29) for Leeds and Hearts and Clapham (32) for Ipswich, Wolves and Birmingham City.

Maybury had spent the second half of the season on loan at Aberdeen, where he played 20 matches, including the 2-2 UEFA Cup draw with Bayern Munich.

The East Midlands club also announced that they will not be taking up the option to extend the deals of Hungarian wingers Gabor Bori and Zsolt Laczko, who return to MTK Hungaria and Olympiacos respectively.

Ryan Beswick, Louis Dodds, Alan Sheehan, Billy McKay, Carl Pentney and Joe Magunda have all been offered the chance to extend their stays at the Walkers Stadium.

Scott Garner and Lee Cox are also set to be offered their first professional deals.

The future of boss Ian Hollway (pictured) has not yet been resolved, although he described meetings with owner Milan Mandaric as "very productive".
