The men and women have both named squads of 24 players, which will then be whittled down to 15.

The women's campaign begins in Ohrid on July 6, where they meet Greece, Portugal, Hungary, Belgium and Austria.

Their squad includes the experienced Harriet Yea, Leah Dehaan and Charlotte Stoddart, all of whom have played at senior level.

"It is going to be very hard for the coaching staff to make some really tough decisions, but this a great place to be in," said head coach Sergio Lara-Bercial.

The men's tournament in Skopje runs from July 16-26 and the GB squad will meet Norway, Finland and Poland.

On four of the squad - Devan Bailey, Alhadji Fullah, Benjamin Mockford and Colin Sing - have played at this level before.

"There are some really talented younger players and key second year players on the squad list. It promises to be an exciting summer," said head coach Tim Lewis.

The squads include players from American colleges and high schools, as well as from Spain and Iceland.

"We have a talented group of players and it's an encouraging sign that the future of British Basketball can be found across top colleges and clubs throughout the world," said Ron Wuotila, head of British Basketball operations.
