Millwall manager Kenny Jackett put his side's League One play-off semi-final win over Leeds down to "honesty, commitment and a little bit of quality".
Jimmy Abdou silenced a full house at Elland Road with a 73rd-minute equaliser as the second leg ended 1-1 on the night, clinching Millwall a 2-1 aggregate win and a date at Wembley against either Scunthorpe or MK Dons a week on Sunday.
"There's no secret to our spirit. People look for secrets in football and there aren't any," said Jackett. "There's honesty, hard work, commitment and, at times, quality."
Leeds striker Luciano Becchio had levelled the tie early in the second half, sending most in a crowd of 37,036 into raptures after the disappointment of seeing Jermaine Beckford's penalty saved five minutes earlier.
Jackett said: "To overcome Leeds, who are a very good team, over two legs is a very good achievement.
"It was one of the best atmospheres that I've been involved in and when their goal went in there was some momentum there and we came back from that very well.
"I've got to say the Leeds crowd were magnificent. The atmosphere they built and then their singing at the end.
"Walking back myself, they were first class, congratulating us and although it's no consolation they were a credit to their club."
The reward for the Lions is a showpiece final against either Scunthorpe or MK Dons at Wembley.

robniguk is a sad bitter Leeds supporter. robniguk will never see Wembley, will never see out the depths of League One, the misery.
NewarkYMCA. I was going to rape your uneducated comments however, i think your name says it all. Saves me typing. Yet another clueless K-nob who shouldn't have access to a PC. Go out with with tumgeshpower and spit-roast his sheep!

KN-OB! F-uck off to your own site. Though i can imagine most of your fans can't string a sentence together!
These two games were awesome. Great for Millwall. Beat Scunthorpe.
League One and big club don't mix you turd.
yeah leeds not a big club,?? look at there gates. muppet.
Well done Millwall. It's great to see Leeds suffer, they may have won afew things in the distant past but they've never been a good footballing side. They are where they belong now on merit, no points deducted this year so no gripes, they got what they deserved this season. Lets just hope they SHUT UP about Leeds being a big club. Thery're not!!
Leeds seems like a loser club who had their 15 minutes of fame some years back and deserve to be in the conference we're they belong.
Leeds seem stuck in a rut at the lower divisions. I'd want to see them in the top tier soon.
It's a shame this wasn't the final. Imagine the atmosphere at Wembley with these two sets of supporters! Good luck to the Lions, see you again in 9 days!
i,m a good loser, well done millwall! me and me mates are off now to console are selves, with an hour ot two looking after my lambs!!
Along with most of Bournemouth I am delighted that Leeds were beaten. Ask anyone from the town who saw the way their supporters wrecked the place and intimidated our supporters on that fateful Bank Holiday. Long time ago but so are memories and leopards and spots spring to mind. Well done Lions.
Well done Millwll and good luck to Leeds utd next term. A great atmosphere and a good match between two committed teams. Lets hope the Lions can do the same at Wembley next week.Kenny Jacket is doing a Fab job at the Den-long may it continue....
if lainechance thinks millwall are a better footballing side then the should go to specsavers
It just goes to show that in the end the best footballing side will always triumph as they did in this case .... WELL DONE MILLWALL
