Nothing new about reports that Didier Drogba is on his way out of Chelsea, but wait until you find out who'll be replacing him.
Ah yes, well, the picture and the title of this page made have been a bit of a clue but still, Emmanuel Adebayor rocking up at the Bridge? Surely not.
That's what the Daily Mirror claims anyway, reporting that Carlo Ancelotti has targeted the Arsenal striker as his first buy when he takes the Chelsea helm in the summer.
Chelsea are also tailing CSKA Moscow's Yuri Zhirkov, apparently on the recommendation of current boss Guus Hiddink. However, it doesn't take a genius to know that the £15 million-rated Russia international, who can take up pretty much any role on the left side of the pitch, would be a tidy purchase.
Manchester United love it at Wigan. United boss Alex Ferguson in particular loves it at the JJB because, not only do they always leave with all three points, but every match the two sides play gives Latics winger Antonio Valencia another glimpse of what he's missing.
The Ecuadorian has long been linked with a move to United, and The Sun says that the Old Trafford side will beat Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and, best of all, Liverpool in the race to sign him this summer.
Steve Bruce can moan all he wants about the big boys continuously coming to poach his best players, but a fee of £20m for a player they only signed permanently in January 2008 is not to be sniffed at.
United are also set to strengthen at the other end of the pitch too, and they will fly Brazilian defender Dodo in for a two-week stay that will include a trip to the Champions League final. Not bad for a 17-year-old who hasn't even started a game for Corinthians yet. The plan is for the ball-playing centre-back to sign a deal that will see him become a United player in January, allowing him to play in the Brazilian league until then.
Across Manchester now, and any talk of Stephen Ireland leaving City should soon stop when he signs a new four-year deal. The midfielder, by far City's best player this year, and his new £80k a week wage will give him parity with others at the club such as Shaun Wright-Phillips and - wait for it - Wayne Bridge.
Newcastle temporaryinterimcaretakermanager Alan Shearer insists that Michael Owen still has his part to play in the Toon's battle against relegation.
By way of endorsement, Shearer decided to remind us of the qualities the little striker showed a decade ago: "You can't forget about Michael. He was always a threat with his pace and he worked his socks off."
Shearer's is also planning to sign Wigan's versatile defender Paul Scharner in the summer should Newcastle stay up (does anyone really think Joe Kinnear is coming back?), and he will do so by triggering a £6m release clause in the Austrian's contract.
According to the Daily Mail's Sports Agenda, Portsmouth will have to shed several players come the end of the season.
Pompey are £65m in debt, £40m of which is owed to South Africa's Standard Bank, who want a hefty part of that sum paid back sharpish. The other £25m has been loaned to the club by owner Alexandre Gaydamak, who won't be ploughing more money in anytime soon.
Receiving a phone call demanding such a large sum of cash would be a fright, but to hear it from a South African accent would be downright chilling.
Elsewhere, Harry Redknapp wants to bring Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz to Tottenham Hotspur, Rovers will shell out £4m to make Gael Givet's loan from Marseille permanent and Bolton will offer the same amount for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil.

Well for me if Drogba should leave. Chelsea should go for young and skill full attackers like Benzema etc
Chelsea 4 life
replace one ego for another, no way.
THIS IS NOT A WISE DECISION FOR CHELSEA AT ALL.
IF DROGBA IS LEAVING, THEN WE NEED SOMEONE LIKE ZLATTAN IBRAIMOVICH (MIGHY MISS THE SPELLING ANYWAY) NOT ADEBAYOR. OH MY GOD. THIS IS THE FIRST SERIOUS AND LONG LASTING MISTAKE CARLO ANCELOTTI WILL MAKE FOR CHELSEA. IF ADEBAYOR IS THE NEXT TARGET AND NOT ZLATTAN THEN LET DROGBA STAY.
BESIDES CHELSEA NEEDS STABILITY IN THEIR MANAGEMENT.
AM A HOT FAN OF CHELSEA. THIS IS MY OWN OPINION ANYWAY. DIDN'T MEANN'T TO PREJUDICE UR FEELINGS NOR PROVE YOU WRONG.
Recently, I discovered a hot place – T a l l h u b Com -- where many sexy tall singles who like sports and chatting there. I'm an open minded girl from UK, I also like discuss sports and love with tall guys on it.
all this about who going here and there its rubbish untill they sign the contract and as for ancelotti he may not come to chelsea and hiddink stays dont believe what you read and money talks
united milan 07 you talk total bollxxcks about eto keeping cech busy they only had one shot on goal all the game get a life mate and watch the game
well like i dont follow arsenal or chelsea but i dont think he will go to chelsea anyway because he is scoring too much and i doubt arsenal would want to sell him if he doing good things for them and ... the only way arsenal would leave him go is if they got a offer higher than 35/40 million!!!
As a proud South African, I take serious offense in your remarks about our accent. Have ever listen to yr own accents? After all what does our accents have to do with anything...your story might sound "cute" and "funny" to some but not to us South Africans!!! Get a life and stick to what you do best; writing about football! Kindly refrain from making making such senseless, sensational comments about my fellow countrymen's accents! chelsea will get teves and ade will go to baca and arsenal will get eto
Brilliant Ancellotti, can we have a deposit up front now!
no way adebayor leaves the emirates anytime soon...
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS ADEBAYOR = GUNNER 4 LYF
How on earth will adebayo go to chelsea? to do what? that is not the kind of player needed in chelsea for now.Thank God is chelsea and not man.united i even trust fergie how could he decend so low to that level of adebayo, well i know is just gossip.for Drogba if the guy eventually leave, chelsea will miss him for sure and many defenders in premiership will thank God that he leaves,to get replacement that will be very farsatile, fast and very disturbing upfront to the extend that they will make mistake and lead to goals will be difficult,he normally go back if there is pressure to save ball, anyway you have to think very well b4 allowing him to go,i wish them well. The champions remains tight and united man.u 4life
after the two champions league semis, its safe to say that drogba and adebayor are the most overrated strikers in the world.
while eto was creating chances and keeping cech busy, drogba just stood around for the ball. even when the best chance of the game fell to him we could only stab the ball at valdes, and his second effort wasn't even on target (fine piece of goalkeeping though).
and don't even start on adebayor...
anyway, good that chelseas getting rid of drogba, but in my opinion adebayors even worse...
and as a united fan, i agree with all the comments about bendtner. when he came on in the semi, i knew arsenal wern't gonna score. and they didn't :)
Anyways, United for glory!!
144 - Bendtner is the worst striker i'v ever seen. out of probably 99 chances, he may manage to score 1. together with Adebayor (whom one arsernal fan nearly beat up in Abuja-Nigeria, if not for security) are the worst thing that has happened to arsernal lately.
Off you go you useless lump of lard Lazy No talent Thicko
