Rotherham will sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Jamie Annerson on July 1 after the youngster signed a pre-contract agreement at Millmoor.

The 20-year-old has had two spells on loan with the Millers but has yet to make a first-team appearance and has also been on loan at Chesterfield and Mansfield.

The former England Under-19 international will now provide competition for number one keeper Andy Warrington after the release of fellow custodian Steven Cann.
