Wycombe striker Matt Harrold has revealed his delight in putting his Southend misery behind him and helping the Chairboys to promotion.
The 24-year-old joined Peter Taylor's side in September after being released by the Shrimpers and revived his career by ending the season as Wycombe's top scorer.
"Each player wants to progress," he told the club's official website. "I will consider my own personal goals over the coming month or so but obviously the main one will be to beat 12 goals.
"It was an excellent season. I didn't have the best time at Southend and if someone had said to me that we would get promoted and I would be the club's top scorer, I would have grabbed it with both hands.
"I wanted more than 12 goals but I was delighted to be the top scorer."
