As Gunners, we've been in the trophy wilderness long enough. For now, as many have already indicated, we need to buy players who will help us win trophies; enough of playing the nursery only for other teams to lure the talent away from Emirates because the players want to win trophies. Wenger, please, heed the fans' concerns for once.

Enough of untested youngsters. You don't win trophies with inexperienced youngsters. Arsene Wenger should wake up to current realities in club competition. He shouuld buy players who have the experience in winning trophies and who have the experience to play big time matches. He should realise that Arsenal lost trophies over the past two seasons because of tiredness and inexperience of most of his young players. At the crucial moments, the players are exhausted and cannot stand the pressure. Excperienced players have a way of motivating the young ones, who look up to them as role models in the team. On their part, experienced players want to impress so that they are marginilised to the bench by the upcoming youngsters. There is a limit to what you can expect from football neophytes. Mr. Wenger, please we want to win trophies in the new season. Please bring some experienced players to support the efforts of the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Van Persie, Clichy, Adebayor, Sagna, etc. We have the money to buy quality players. Stop economizing. It may be penny wise pound foolish effort in the new seaason if you fail to heed to your fans' clarion calls. WEH

i understand he wants to go for younger players, but get players that are 24 to 25 not players who are 18 or 19, we are not going to win the premier league with these players, we really need established players and we need them soon, if he wants to challenge for the premier league.

I trust Wenger and the scouts to pick players but I'd rather see us use the supposed £11.8m towards buying David Villa rather than some kid that has never played for the Real first team.

We need to buy experienced players at the Premier League and International level and perhaps bring on young English talent in the background for when we are forced to accept the 6/5 rule!
