Wycombe manager Peter Taylor has revealed midfielder Gary Holt has decided not to seek a move away from Adams Park.The former Nottingham Forest man looked set to leave Adams Park after the departure of former boss Paul Lambert at the end of last season.

The 34-year-old publicly criticised the club for not doing enough to keep hold of Lambert who guided the Chairboys to the League Two play-offs last season before being knocked out by eventual winners Stockport.

Taylor told the Harrow Times: "We had a brief conversation and I could tell within two minutes that we were on the same wavelength. Gary has assured me he wants to stay and enjoy the season with us.

"Gary Holt is a good professional and a good type and I'm looking forward to working with him next season."
