Britain's Allan McNish continues to lead the Le Mans 24 Hours with five hours to run to the chequered flag in the legendary French endurance race.
McNish, sharing his diesel-powered Audi with co-drivers Dindo Capello and record seven-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, leads by almost one lap.
The Peugeot of Marc Gene/Nick Minassian/Jacques Villeneuve took back the lead from the McNish Audi five hours into the 76th running of the gruelling twice-around-the-clock event.
But when rain began to fall just before dawn, the initiative went back to Audi with the British/Italian/Danish combination excelling in the treacherously slippery conditions with the Peugeot left trailing in their wake.
