Accrington have confirmed Premier League new-boys Burnley will visit the Fraser Eagle Stadium on July 28 as part of their pre-season schedule.

Burnley ended a 33-year stint outside the top flight with promotion last season and Owen Coyle's men will be the second Premier League club to make the trip to Stanley in July.

The home fans will also be treated to a potentially exciting encounter with Burnley's Lancashire counterparts Blackburn, who go to Accrington three days later on July 31.

John Coleman will then take his League Two outfit to UniBond League North side Halifax on July 18.
