Crystal Palace assistant manager Mick Jones admits he is unsurprised by the current speculation linking Neil Danns with a move away from the club.
Preston boss Alan Irvine is reportedly among those interested in signing the attacking midfielder, who Jones believes could develop into a quality player.
He told the South London Press: "It would not surprise me at all because the kid is a good player.
"He's had a bad time with injuries since he's been with us but we saw glimpses of what he's capable of, particularly at the back end of last season."

I tend to agree with you neald1976 but loyalty is an old fashioned word these days
Come on you eagles!!
I think palace should keep Neil Danns because i think he could progress into quite a good player with new signing Darren Ambrose and Nick Carle. I would like to see danns stay to pay back palace for their faith in him whilst injured for a long time, a wee bit of loyalty required.
