West Brom captain Paul Robinson believes the departure of manager Tony Mowbray for Celtic would lead a number of players to consider their future at the club.
Robinson admits he would "jump at the chance" to move to a Barclays Premier League club after the Baggies were relegated this season.
And he believes if Mowbray, who is poised to join the Bhoys after the clubs agreed a compensation package, leaves The Hawthorns, several players could follow him through the exit.
Robinson told talkSPORT: "Losing the gaffer is a big blow to us as a group of players. It's a massive loss for us and I don't know where the club goes from here.
"I'm an ambitious player and I want to keep going forward and the manager [going] has made a lot of decisions for a lot of people so we'll have to wait and see when we go back in [to pre-season training].
"It's a massive blow for the club and the players who have worked with him over the two-and-a-half years. It's not gone through yet but it looks more than likely that it will and it will be a massive loss to the club."

Lets put things into perspective here. I think Mowbray was a good manager and with enough time and patience could have fashioned a very good premiership class team however he made alot of mistakes at the albion.
1: His picking of a centre half (Considering he used to be one!) is laughable, whoever told him that Meite, Donk, Martis or Barnett were premiership standard must have been high at the time.
2:He continually left out Cech in favour of Robinson,
3:he picked and brought Kim yet only discovered Dorrans with 10 games to go.
4: He spends 4.25M on an attack minded passer (Valero) then asks him to play as a defensive midfielder,
5:he plays our left winger at right wing,
6:he lets our top scorer go and replaces him with a player that we HAD to take as part of the Curtis Davis deal (Moore).
7: He continually leaves out Roman Bedner even though he was our top scoring striker,
8: he picks a forward he actually tells the press he doesn't want to be there and can't wait to go back to Arsenal.
9: He plays a goalkeeper who although clearly a great player is lacking in confidence and is desperate for a break and doesn't rest him until 2 games to go.
I don't think he will be that great a loss, I think the philosophy that he has brought can be continued with the right appointment.
Looking at things with a little sense he was never going to turn down chamions league football and title winning excitement when compared to life in the Championship. At least he didn't walk out and we got a little comp for him.
I am sad to see him go but nobody is bigger than the club.
Tony, thanks for the memories and good luck in scotland, oh and if you want Paul Robinson i'll drive him there personally.
I think that the chairman does'nt help the situation by letting celtic take him anyway, i understand that he does'nt want the club to be in debt but these people forget the money the fans pay to watch them play,so i suppose with him cutting the squad down and no doubt not putting the £2m in the transfer kitty it will be interesting to see what happens next season,to be honest i dont hold out much hope of an immediate return to the premiership. It really winds me up when the loyalty goes, Mowbray asked the players to be loyal, then what does he do.........Leg it,just goes to show, money talks. Next seasons team will be nothing like last season, because at the end of the day, we nuture any talent we have for other clubs. So watch out league 2 we are after players.
Note: For there to be a player exodus, other teams have to be interested in your players!
a player exodus could be really serious and sink us. We should pull out the stops to keep Mowbray.
i think 3 or 4 of the players mentioned here as disposable are perfect for the championship and are still young enough to grow into premiership players.
Should there be a player exodus that is more about the man Mowbray than it is the players. The cynics on this page clearly know nothing about him or football. brunt may well have been played out of position towards the end of last season but that gave him scope to cut in and use his shot through which he became our leading scorer. From what i'd seen of him the previous year he played above himself and needs to be commended.
If Mowbs goes..... we'll have to act quick to get someone else in and the choice will be very interesting indeed. Please do not bring back Robbo.
As for Brunt Stuart. A decent player, good left foot. BUT Mowbray didnt play him in his strongest position for most of the season. Old fashioned winger who whips in a decent early left foot cross. Doesnt tend to go past players much and sometimes can be slow in helping back.
Robbo you may be ambitious but your a championship player. Dont fool yourself. As for a player exodus, well not a bad thing if its Moore, Meite, Zuiverloon, Hoefkens, Beattie, Kim, Robbo and Barnett!
Stuart.... I am not a baggie and you did not ask me the question, but if you are asking about Chris Brunt (ex Sheff Wed) then yes, he can certainly play a bit. Rocket shot and good from dead balls, an above average championship quality player
The best thing to come out of this fiasco is that we will now get rid of the rubbish like robbo
Alex...R u a baggie...whats the bhoy Brunt like as a player?
you might be ambitious but you have not got the skill required for the prem
