Swiss midfielder leaves Bolton

Mon, 15 Jun 23:20:01 2009

Bolton midfielder Blerim Dzemaili has joined Torino for an undisclosed fee following a loan spell with the Italian side.

The Swiss international, 23, made only one appearance after moving to the Reebok Stadium from FC Zurich in 2007 - a serious injury curtailing his progress.

Bolton, meanwhile, have released Rob Sissons, Nathan Woole and James Sinclair.

  2. Wrong Celtic Col, he replaced Sammy Lee, whose disastrous stint left us bottom, 1 point behind Derby and going down! People forget that under Allardyce our form in the second half of his final season was abysmal. I lost count of the number of games we lost by 4 or more. Allardyce only won 1 of his last 12 games! The writing was on the wall and the squad needed to be freshened up and reinvented. It's not easy as we have limited resources and it takes time. We have only been a top 10 team for 3 seasons and were fighting relegation every season before that. We've improved year on year under Megson and he's slowly taking us back to where we were.

  3. hes the only thing tht has happened to Bolton since Alladyce tbh

  4. I will never understand the mentaility of some of our fans. Gary Megson has done an amazing job, reducing the budget (under orders), trimming the ages of the squad with the old guard (Campo, Stelios, Nolan) and bringing in quality. To survive using virtually the same players week in week out, which is unheard of these days is an amazing achievement. It's clear he's building and we must give him time and patience. Looking forward to seeing who we bring in this summer.

    GINGER MOURINHO!!!!

  5. The ginger Mourinho!! Why on earth would you want rid of him, he's the best thing to happen to Bolton since Sam Allerdyce. He might not play the prettiest football, but he gets results and manages fairly comfortable survival with one of the thinnest playing squads around - and one that is not blessed with the greatest of talents it has to be said. Force him out and you will end up with some mug that overspends, underachieves and gets you relegated
