Oldham have cancelled Tuesday's warm-up game against Cercle Brugge after the Belgian club asked for the kick-off time to be changed. The game, which was arranged two months ago, was due to start at 2pm. However, when Brugge suggested an alternative time, it was met by an angry reaction from chief executive Alan Hardy.
"The revised kick-off time proposed by Brugge was completely unacceptable and was rejected. The coaching staff now have different plans in place," he told the club's official website.
Oldham are now expected to name a strong side for their friendly against Rhyl on Wednesday night.
