Rangers chief executive Martin Bain has been elected to the Scottish Premier League board following a vote at Tuesday's AGM.Dundee United chairman Eddie Thompson, Hibernian chief executive Rod Petrie and Falkirk chairman Campbell Christie continue on the five-man board, while Lex Gold was unanimously re-elected as chairman.
The SPL also announced another television deal, which will see games broadcast on the new BBC Gaelic channel.
The two-year contract with production company MNE Media will see one SPL game shown in its entirety on the free channel, which launches on September 19.
The SPL had previously announced a deal with BT Vision that will see 28 games shown on demand each season, in addition to the 60 broadcast live by Setanta.

As a Rangers supporter, may I be the first to say ... "God help the SPL board."
Lucky that they had already negotiated their big deal recently, because if Zoolander had been anywhere near it, it would have been a packet of crisps and a sherbet dab job yet again.
