Juventus appear to have ended their interest in Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.
The Spaniard has been linked with a summer move away from Anfield, with Juve reported to be leading the chase.
But it is claimed talks have stalled, and the Bianconeri's signing of Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen has sparked rumours Juve's interest in Alonso has now come to an end.
Speaking after the capture of Poulsen, Juve boss Claudio Ranieri revealed his remaining transfer target is a goalkeeper.
"We're 99 per cent complete, at least in terms of people coming in," he told the club's official website.
"We only need another keeper and then we'll be all set, ready to face the new season.
"I'm really pleased with how the club operated and for this I thank them.
"I'm convinced I have a good team at my disposal; we'll be able to compete with everybody. We only need to work hard and keep pushing forward."

Never ever underestimate Juve. They buy unknown players and sometimes almost-stars and make them become monstrous and then sell them.. They are always playing for the championship.. Always!
i think that juve has enough goalies that they can get from their youth academy. they should try and sign the younger player of alonso and Christian Poulsen so they will have more use for them.
Glad to see juve have bugerd off, lets hope rafa decides to do the same with barry and leave him alone. YNWA
whit this squad.........i don't think!
