Lyon are expected to sign Aly Cissokho and Michel Bastos after fees were agreed for the left-sided duo.

Deposed as seven-times Ligue 1 champions this summer, Lyon are acting swiftly to rebuild their squad and it is reported that bids of 15 and 18 million euros were accepted for the pair from Porto and Lille respectively.

"It is what I wanted," Brazilian winger Bastos (left) told L'Equipe. "During the discussions I had with my directors, I always stayed positive.

"They had said to me that they would allow either me or (defender) Adil (Rami) to leave. I simply waited for their decision. It was an amicable agreement, but it is a shame for Adil, who is a friend of mine."

Bastos - a free-kick specialist to rival the departed Juninho - scored 14 goals last season, his third campaign with les Dogues.

Team-mate Rami is a target for Marseille and has threatened to break his contract and play non-league football in a bid to move to Stade Velodrome.

Frenchman Cissokho, 21, had been set to join Milan but failed a medical due to a dental problem which they feared could lead to back injuries.

The Rossoneri then tried to sign him on loan, but Lyon have stepped in with a cash bid.

"Porto asked for 15 million euros, and this is the offer we have made," Lyon director Marino Faccioli told Radio RMC.

"He has a great future. If president Pinto (da Costa) does not go against his word, Cissokho will be ours next season."

If he agrees terms with Lyon, Cissokho would be re-united with former Porto team-mate Lisandro Lopez at Stade Gerland after he joined Les Gones for 24 million euros last week.
