Rangers accept Blues Ferguson bid

Wed 15 Jul, 06:47 PM

Barry Ferguson's Rangers career moved closer to an end when the Ibrox club accepted a bid from Birmingham on Wednesday.

Ferguson, 31, will discuss terms with the Blues who are managed by his former Rangers and Scotland manager Alex McLeish.

It was reported that the bid is around £1million although that was not confirmed.

If terms are agreed, Ferguson will return to the top flight in England four-and-half years after a spell at Blackburn Rovers.

And if the midfielder leaves Rangers, he will follow Brahim Hemdani, Christian Dailly and Graeme Smith out the Ibrox door this summer.

  3. well said david about ferguson, we done better without him, and the only other ones who have left were only bit players so no damage done YET!!!!!

as for big john, i hope and pray he has a full recovery, instead of the goverment spending millions on junkies methadone schemes they should give an open cheque to cancer research and lets try and finally beat this terrible blight on mankind which has or will touch us all no matter your religion, creed or colour at one point in our lives.

  4. hey cya Bazza,
you played well for the gers on many occassions and now past yer best ..
the best games we had last season we had without him playing 4-2 v the tic and hibs away game to name two .....so we get money and not really lost much in the way of an attacking player ...and I for one aint in the least bit worried about who the septic have signed ...we might be skint but there is no fear here..

all the best to Big Hartson hope you recover big yin !!!
