West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand is a doubt for Saturday afternoon's Premier League opener against Wigan at Upton Park.Ferdinand is struggling with a hamstring injury sustained during the pre-season friendly against Ipswich.
Craig Bellamy (hamstring), Kieron Dyer (broken leg), Jonathan Spector (hip), George McCartney (virus), Danny Gabbidon (stomach), James Tompkins (leg) and James Collins (knee) are out.

The thing is David Dyers injury was a bad tackle and he might be lucky to play again but Bellamy was always a challenge, we should have kept bobby z
Same old sick notes out, when are they going to turn up and play???
I thought Alan curbishley's judgment was sound until he spent out on Keiron Dyer, who he didn't need, and Craig Bellamy, who he also did not require. Who were known sick notes before they joined West Ham.
