Brentford are without suspended defender Marcus Bean for the home clash with Grimsby and have a number of injury worries to contend with.Bean, a summer signing from Blackpool, serves a one-match ban following his sending-off in the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Swansea.
Nathan Elder faces a late fitness test on a dead leg and fellow striker Charlie MacDonald is still struggling with the groin injury which has delayed his debut.
Defender Sam Wood will also have a late check on an ankle problem and on-loan James Wilson has a slight hamstring strain.
Ross Montague, Ryan Dickson (both back) and Gary Smith (ankle) are still sidelined.
