Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond will check on the fitness of striker Brett Pitman and defender Ryan Garry ahead of the league trip to Aldershot.Pitman sustained a knock during last weekend's League Two opener against Gillingham and was replaced in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw by Josh McQuoid.

Garry also suffered an injury against the Gills and both he and Pitman missed the 2-1 Carling Cup defeat at the hands of Cardiff in midweek.

Danny Hollands will be out until September having undergone knee surgery last week, but teenage striker Ricky Sappleton could earn a starting berth.

The 18-year-old forward from Leicester came on as a substitute against Cardiff and will remain at Dean Court initially until the end of the month.
