Nottingham Forest winger Arron Davies is a major injury doubt for the trip to the Liberty Stadium to face Championship rivals Swansea City.Davies limped out of Wednesday's Carling Cup win over Morecambe with a calf problem and is now facing a race against time to prove his fitness.

Forest boss Colin Calderwood confirmed: "It looks as if he's got a slight strain in his calf. He obviously looks quite doubtful for the weekend."

Calderwood will again be without Andrew Cole (calf), Joe Garner (knee), Paul Anderson (thigh) and Nathan Tyson (hamstring), but Kelvin Wilson should return to the side.

Wilson was rested in midweek and should face the Swans, while Lewis McGugan is expected to overcome a thigh injury.

Winger Lee Martin could also make his Championship debut for the Reds after joining on loan until January from Manchester United earlier this week.
