Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope has the same injury problems to contend with for his side's League One trip to Brighton.The Pirates began their League One campaign last week without defenders Ryan Green, Danny Coles and Joe Jacobson, and those three players remain absent.

It was thought Green might have returned to contention for the midweek Carling Cup clash at Watford, but Trollope resisted any temptation to recall the full-back.

Green has only recently returned to fitness following an Achilles problem that ruled him out for much of last season.

Coles and Jacobson suffered knee injuries towards the end of Rovers' pre-season preparations and are not expected to be fit until the beginning of September
