Gillingham will be boosted by the return of Curtis Weston for their opening League Two home game against a confident Luton side on Saturday. The midfielder missed the Carling Cup defeat to Colchester due to the terms of his loan deal from Leeds but will be back in the squad to face the Hatters.
Goalkeeper Simon Royce is still suffering from the virus which caused him to miss the Colchester game, meaning Alan Julian is on standby to continue.
