Millwall welcome back captain Paul Robinson as they go in search of their first win of the season against Southend at the New Den.The centre-half missed the midweek Carling Cup exit at the hands of Northampton after being sent off during the opening-day defeat at Oldham, and should come straight back into the side.

On-loan Leeds striker Tresor Kandol suffered a slight leg knock against the Cobblers but is expected to be fit.

Adrian Forbes is over a bout of tonsilitis and Ryan Smith is fit following a knee injury, but Danny Spiller is still struggling with a muscle problem and will not be risked.

Full-backs Marcus Bignot and Danny Senda remain on the long-term casualty list with knee injuries.
