Julian Speroni, Matt Lawrence, Tom Soares and James Scowcroft should all return to the Crystal Palace squad for the trip to Preston.Darryl Flahavan, a summer signing from Southend, made his debut in the midweek Carling Cup win over Hereford but first-choice goalkeeper Speroni will come back in at Deepdale.

Centre-half Lawrence was rested as he builds up his fitness following summer hernia surgery while midfielder Soares and striker Scowcroft will also expect to come back in.

Winger John Oster grabbed a debut goal against Hereford just 24 hours after signing for Palace and will hope to keep his place.

Neil Danns is sidelined with a long-term groin injury and fellow midfielder Ben Watson is still frozen out while his future remains unresolved.
