Derby boss Paul Jewell will be without defender Alan Stubbs, who is still sidelined with a knee injury, for Saturday's clash with Bristol City.The 36-year-old limped out of the opening-day defeat to Doncaster with the problem and did not feature in Tuesday's Carling Cup win over Lincoln.

Stubbs has had an injection and the club hope to find out more next week.

That means Claude Davies is set to continue in defence alongside Martin Albrechtsen after completing 120 minutes against the League Two side.

Fellow defender Lewin Nyatanga also misses out after undergoing an operation to discover the nature of a knee injury.

Dean Leacock is also available as cover and Jewell has no other injury worries for the trip to Ashton Gate, which kicks-off at 5.20pm.
