Stoke manager Tony Pulis completed his fourth signing of the summer after Charlton midfielder Amdy Faye joined for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old Senegal international has joined the Potters on a 12-month deal after impressing during training while on a week-long trial with the club.

Pulis told the club's official website: "He's very strong and athletic, and he has important experience at the top level we can call upon.

"I've liked the look of him in training and also liked his attitude in the few days he's been with us. I think he did well in the short time he was on the pitch in the friendly against Osasuna."
