Thierry Henry romped to an emphatic victory in our reader poll to find the greatest Arsenal player of all-time.
Over half of Eurosport-Yahoo! voters plumped for the French forward, leaving Dennis Bergkamp trailing in second with Ian Wright in third.
Perhaps surprisingly, Henry polled over 12 times as many votes as his countryman Patrick Vieira, who is the club's most successful captain.
Another legendary captain, Tony Adams, came fourth, while readers cocked a snook to history by almost completely ignoring Liam Brady, Frank McLintock and Cliff Bastin.
Thierry Henry
From enigmatic winger in Turin to world-class centre forward in London. Under mentor Arsene Wenger, Henry became the club's all-time leading scorer with 226 goals in all competitions. The Frenchman won two League titles and three FA Cups with the Gunners; he was twice nominated for the FIFA World Player of the Year, was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year twice, and won the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year award three times. Henry spent his final two seasons with Arsenal as club captain, leading them to the UEFA Champions League final in 2006. In June 2007 after eight years, 370 appearances and 226 goals, he joined Barcelona.

What you said:
samy: "For me the list should be made up of only one name: THIERRY HENRY!!! He's not only the greatest player in arsenal's history, but also the greatest in the history of british football! As for the greatest player of all time in general, it's a tough fight between him and Zidane! And for me, HENRY IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE UNIVERSE!!!"
Giovanni T: "I would say Henry. However I am a fan of Liam Brady, one of few EPL players to make an impact in Italy, leading Juventus to its 20th title."
benji_p82: "Four words- Ian Wright Wright Wright!"
wicklowgunner: "Very difficult for me to choose between Adams, Wright, Henry and Bergkamp as all four were fantastic in their own way, but for technique skill and the best football brain there ever has been (goal v newcastle, no player other than him would have scored that) - its got to be Dennis, number 10, GOD."
dotuncoker: "What of king Kanu? Nobody has mentioned a man that turned around that game against Chelski. Please remember."
Alan Tindall: "No mention of Gus Ceasar? :o("
stuartatkinson9: "Tony Adams by a mile. 100% arsenal, and remember he got into Caprice's knickers as well."
Alfa: "Pat Vieira. In terms of all round influence on the team, there has never been anyone like PV. Even in Arsenal of old there was never anyone like him. He was and still is the most influencial player we ever had. He gave the team character and leadership which the team lacks today."

I am not shocked man he was @#$% legend man
Hey jonnidoe36, speak english! And jozzytenkorang, a Spurs fan I think. Very sad.
Anyway you're both ARMCHAIRS!!!!!!
Classic example of Arsenals short memory fans. Or is that just fans that have only been supporting them a few years?
What I like about Henry's legacy ay Arsenal is that at the very beginning, he was pretty awful! Then suddenly, he became the fantastic player he is today. Almost out of nowhere.
Bergkamp was much better than Henry. His goal against Newcastle is one of the best goals ever.
Small london club.
marc overmars?
your legend is flopping in a big team elsewhere. You're a small club.
no ones mentioned mark overmars.
henry is the reason why i even started supporting asernal.i feel he was the greatest and its not been the same since he left
