Serie A - Jose's Inter 'work in progress'

Internazionale coach Jose Mourinho called his side a work in progress in comparison to experienced Champions League opponents Barcelona.

Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to Inter for the first time since his close season move in the Group F fixture while Inter's Samuel Eto'o faces his former side alongside a host of players making their European debuts.

"Barcelona are a team that have played together for a long time with the addition of only two new players," Mourinho said.

"We start the match with five players who only just arrived and we are a team under construction. This is the reality but I don't want to think that they are favourites."

Mourinho said Inter's Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso was poised to take a place on the bench after making a quick recovery from a month out due to knee surgery.
