Brentford skipper Alan Bennett was delighted with his return from injury at the weekend.

The Irish defender came back from a three-game absence with a groin problem and helped the Bees to a goalless draw - and a second clean sheet of the season - at in-form Huddersfield.

"It was great to get 90 minutes," he said. "It was a good result and a good clean sheet.

"We knew the game would be a real test of League One football and it was important not to get beaten.

"We didn't want to lose and we could have taken it with a couple of late chances."
