Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is in contention to make a comeback from his groin injury this weekend against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old Brazil international has missed four games with the problem suffered against Hull last month but was fit enough to be a substitute on Saturday against Manchester United, a defeat that saw Carlo Cudicini concede a free-kick in the corner of the net he was guarding.
It is thought that Gomes was not quite ready for a first-team return against United but he will have had another week of training before the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday to face the Barclays Premier League leaders.
Jermaine Jenas also staked his claim for a place in the starting XI when he came on at half-time for his first appearance of the season following a calf problem.
