Lee Peacock will make his long-awaited return on Tuesday night when Swindon's reserve side take on Southampton.
The striker has been sidelined since the start of March with a back injury picked up in the 2-2 home draw against Cheltenham.
Having undergone surgery to rectify the problem the 32-year-old has spent the last six months in rehabilitation but will take a big step forward in his recovery when he starts against Saints at Bulpit Lane, home of non-league neighbours Hungerford Town.
Summer signing Jakub Jesionkowski will also start between the sticks.
