Blackburn striker Jason Roberts believes his side has finally turned the corner after a disappointing start to their league campaign.
Blackburn had picked up just one point from three previous games before Saturday's 3-1 home win against Wolves, in which Roberts opened his own scoring account for the campaign.
He said: "We have put a marker down now because we have been playing well recently without getting the rewards.
"Against Wolves it all came good for us and we could have scored more. But we have to be happy with the chances we made and the goals we got.
"We know now what we are capable because we were not getting what we felt we deserved. Now we must keep plugging away to pull ourselves up the table."

Hi Dean, im usually the one with the hard word for our senile and petulant peterjon who must in reallity be a closet dingle supporter but we need to find a new partnership up front before it gets later in the season even an untried pair with little experience can miss sitters and thats no different to what we unfortunatly see week in week out, cant understand sam continually going every week with a mix of roberts and mccarthy unbeleivable.Probebly win on sat at everton we seem to be their bogey side?lets both hope so!..

steve, our comments are nothing to do with Roberts' performance or goal tally. It's about the ridiculous comment that Rovers haven't played well before Saturday and that you have to win to play well! I agree that Roberts (and McCarthy) are not up to the job!
Morning, well for once im with peterjon65, what is roberts talking about?? the ball hit him and went in and he claimed it?? how pathetic is that, i am willing to wager with any of you £20.00 he doe'snt get 8 goals all season and that includes the accidental one on saturday! calls himself a stiker its total @#$%.
Peter, why are you always so negative? Of course a team can play well without winning! Bet you used to stand in the 'enclosure' It was always full of moaning pessimists!
just wait everton fans we will stuff u all over the pitch. can't even beat fulham
sorry peter but have you been watching the games this season.
We have been playing well just not hitting the back of the net,
Its about time rovers fans got behind the team and not against them. And considering the departures this summer due to financial reasons i feel we've played well.
Well Mr. Roberts remember one fine day does'nt make a summer,we'll see what happens at Everton.By the way the team has not been playing well until this win, playing "well"means winning games !! simples is'nt it.Some forwards think just running about all over the place trying to look busy is about playing well, you know of course thats not the case.Well done for the win by the way.I never praise hard luck stories. You make your own luck.
