Brighton defender Jake Wright got 90 minutes under his belt for the reserves to build up his fitness following a hamstring injury.
The left-back, a summer signing from Crawley Town, has been sidelined for a month but played a full part in the second string's 2-1 win at Aldershot.
Seagulls medical staff will check Wright has suffered no reaction on Wednesday morning but he will hopefully be available for Saturday's clash with Southend.
Craig Davies' first-half double secured victory for a strong Albion side which also included Dean Cox, Gary Hart and Alan Navarro.
"The squad is full of confidence and the lads are firing on all cyliders," said reserves boss Bob Booker.
