Aldershot have announced Jason Dodd has been named as the club's caretaker manager following the departure of Gary Waddock.
Former Southampton defender Dodd has taken over the reins at the Recreation Ground on a temporary basis after Waddock left for Wycombe on Wednesday.
Dodd will take charge of the club's home clash with Bury over the weekend while his ex-Saints team-mate Paul Williams will be his assistant.
Dodd has previously had caretaker stints at Southampton and non-league side Eastleigh.
An Aldershot club statement read: "The club are delighted that Jason and Paul have been able to make themselves available at such short notice and look forward to working with them during the period of time they are with the club whilst the process of short-listing candidates and interviewing for the permanent positions takes place.
"To have such quality caretaker management available to us at this time is fantastic news and ensures that the club's progress towards promotion to League One can continue."
