Carlisle boss Greg Abbott is desperate to sort out the club's growing injury problems before Saturday's tough trip to Northampton.Paul Thirlwell was substituted as a precaution during Saturday's defeat to Leicester following a niggling Achilles problem, while Peter Murphy missed the Brunton Park clash with a thigh injury.
Abbott told the News & Star: "We can't afford to have a player out for a month so we have erred on the side of caution with Murphy and Thirlwell.
"With Murph, all the extra work he has done for his knee has put extra stress on his thigh, and it was just causing him a few problems. But with a bit of luck he'll be okay for next weekend."
Meanwhile, Danny Graham who scored the Cumbrians' only goal against the Foxes, was feared to have broken his arm but only bruising showed up when he was assessed by the club doctor.
Graham said: "It's going to be sore for the next few days but we will look after that through the week and I'm sure I'll be on that bus to Northampton."
