Gillingham manager Mark Stimson is determined to keep hold of Simeon Jackson - even if he is offered big money for the star striker.Jackson, who arrived at Priestfield for a fee of £150,000 from Rushden & Diamonds in January, scored his 10th goal of the season with a stoppage-time equaliser in the Gills' 2-2 draw at Barnet on Saturday.
And Stimson said: "He's an international, 21 years of age, he's got everything in front of him. The chairman might have a different view but personally I wouldn't take a million pounds for him.
"He's got at least another 10 goals in him between now and the end of the season and there aren't many players out there who can guarantee you that."
Meanwhile Adam Miller, who has been playing just off Jackson to great effect in recent weeks, will miss Saturday's game with Brentford after being booked for the fifth time this season at Underhill, and Stimson has challenged Gary Mulligan to make the most of the opportunity to replace him.
He added: "Unfortunately we'll miss Adam next week so hopefully Gary can stay fit this weekend and then he'll get an opportunity to start up front on Saturday."
