Terry Gornell could return to League Two side Accrington in January or at the end of the season when his contract with Tranmere runs out.The young striker scored four goals before being recalled to Tranmere three weeks ago, but Stanley chairman Eric Whalley has refused to rule out the possibility of Gornell returning to the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
Whalley told the Accrington Observer: "He has been on the bench for Tranmere in the last few games but there is a strong possibility that we can work things out with the club and the player to bring him back at some stage - either for the rest of this season or next season," said the chairman.
"It does depend if Tranmere offer him a new deal and what the player wants but we would like to have him back here."
