On-loan Sunderland midfielder Ross Wallace is eager to make his stay at Championship outfit Preston a permanent one.Wallace is on loan a season-long from the Black Cats but after another eye-catching display against Birmingham on Saturday the former Celtic man is hopeful of joining the Lillywhites on a long-term deal.
He told the club's official website: "Sunderland can call me back in January and we will see from there really. Hopefully we can get something sorted in January, contract-wise, and we will take it from there.
"Sunderland have got the opportunity to bring me back and Preston have got the opportunity to buy me in January.
"Hopefully the two clubs can come to some sort of agreement because I am enjoying it here and playing in games and we have got a half-decent team here."
