60 seconds with Jamie Murray

Wimbledon doubles champion Jamie Murray reveals a hatred of Big Brother stars in our latest 60-second interview.

Jamie Murray - Scotland - 0

What are your ambitions for next season?

Well, first I'd like to find myself a new doubles partner, that would be good. I'll take who I can get now just to get started with anyway. I'm only 23 next year, a lot younger than most of the other doubles players on the tour, so there's still a lot more for me to achieve.

What famous person would you like to meet?

Alex Ferguson.

Who would you like to mouth off at?

I guess there are a lot of people out there who are famous for being famous. They haven't really done anything except go on Big Brother and they make a lot of money from that.

Who was your sporting hero?

When I was growing up I was always watching Sampras and Agassi. Those were the guys at the top of the game. But from another sport? You've got to love Tiger Woods.

Is there a word that you overuse?

My brother always says I say 'hopefully' too much in interviews.

What food would you never eat?

I'll eat anything, to be honest with you.

What's the last album you bought?

The last thing I downloaded was the new Lil Wayne. That's the rapper in me coming out.

What's your most embarrassing moment?

Once I came on to court and the pockets of my new shorts were still stitched up. I kept on trying to put balls in the pockets and dropping them.

How long do you take to get ready in the morning?

Not very long, I'm straight up and I go.

When was the last time you threw a punch?

Never in my life. Though maybe if this interview goes over 60 seconds.
