Eurosport-Yahoo!'s weekly look at the UEFA Cup opponents for British clubs left in the competition.
Hamburg (at home to Aston Villa - December 17)
Hamburg 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Villa went through despite losing 2-1 at home to Zilina, but after their recent excellent domestic form the clash with group leaders Hamburg should be open, if meaningless.
Hamburg's 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt gave them a fourth-placed finish in the 'winter season' of the Bundesliga.
Croatia striker Mladen Petric (pictured on the right) sealed the victory with a second-half header.
It was his second winning goal in as many games, following his brace in the 2-1 win at Cologne.
Racing Santander (at home to Manchester City - December 18)
Almeria 1-1 Racing Santander
Group leaders City and second-placed Twente are through and they are both away to Racing Santander and Paris St-Germain respectively.
It means nothing to the top two but could have huge implications for Schalke, who will be forced out of the competition if either Racing or PSG win.
City's opponents drew 1-1 at Almeria in La Liga, which left them 13th.
Racing took the lead after 33 minutes when Argentine centre-half Ezequiel Garay drilled a shot in the top corner from 25 yards.
Almeria's Peruvian defender Santiago Acasiete smashed a superb volley just under the bar to level in the 62nd.
Racing had Mehdi Lacen sent off near the end.
Spartak Moscow (away at Tottenham Hotspur - December 18)
N/A
Tottenham are the only British team left in the UEFA Cup who have anything to play for, with Aston Villa and Manchester City already through and Portsmouth unable to progress to the knock-out stage.
Harry Redknapp's side have six points, which should guarantee them a last-32 berth anyway, but anything other than a heavy defeat would ensure qualifiction for the North Londoners.
They host Spartak, of whom there is literally nothing to say as the Russian domestic season is over.
Heerenveen (away at Portsmouth - December 17)
Heerenveen 2-0 De Graafschap
Portsmouth are out of the UEFA Cup after picking up only one point in three games.
They host group whipping boys Heerenveen, who went fourth in the Dutch Eredivisie after a Roy Beerens brace gave them three points at home to De Graafschap.
Beerens struck in the 14th and 23rd minutes to ensure consecutive wins for Heerenveen.
