The Stobart VK M-Sport Ford rally team will sport a refreshed livery for the 2008 season in the FIA World Rally Championship. The British team is expecting the new look to carry them into the upcoming season as they look to improve on their great result from 2007.
The manifold shades of blue now present on one side of the Stobart Ford Focus RS WRC07 represent the multimodal services offered by the newly-formed Stobart Group, with the traditional Stobart Motorsport green remaining on the other side.
This year the cars will be crewed by a combination of new and familiar faces. The 2008 line-up selected to tackle the WRC season now includes Italians Gigi Galli/Giovanni Bernacchini, with Norwegians Henning Solberg/Cato Menkerud returning to their cockpit. Briton Matthew Wilson also reclaims his seat, now reunited with co-driver and fellow Cumbrian Scott Martin for this year's challenge.
The new multicolor livery will be on display at the WRC launch in Monaco on Sunday 20 January ahead of the opening round of the championship, Rallye Monte-Carlo, which will run from 24 to 27 January.
