Newcastle Eagles virtually secured their place in the BBL Trophy semi-finals with an
89-73 success over an injury-hit Everton Tigers.
After a close start the hosts opened up a 37-27 lead midway through the second quarter before Tigers reduced it to seven at the break.
And despite a game-high 26 points from Calvin Davis Everton could not find a way back.
