Hereford made it four wins in a row with a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Chesterfield in Saturday's League Two clash at Edgar Street. The Spireites thumped Hereford 4-0 less than a month ago but the Bulls gained revenge with their 18th league win of the season.

On-loan strikers Sherjill MacDonald and Gary Hooper clinched Hereford's victory with strikes in the first half.

MacDonald opened the scoring when he latched onto a head-on from Clint Easton to head past Michael Jordan from close range.

Hooper latched onto a free-kick to beat Jordan with a close-range shot into the corner of the net.

MacDonald, however, almost snatched a third for the Bulls in the 63rd minute but his header was well saved by Jordan.
