Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle made a successful comeback in a friendly against Irish club Bohemians on Friday night.Carlisle has been plagued by hamstring trouble since December 29 but played 90 minutes for Owen Coyle's side in a drab goalless draw in Dublin.
Coyle was happy with the full-back's contribution, saying: "Clarke has trained for a period of time now and we're delighted for him to get a game under his belt.
"We all know he's a top, top player and the more players we have of that ilk the better."
The match was designed to strengthen Burnley's ties in Ireland and possibly lead to a stream of talent arriving at Turf Moor.
