Lincoln grabbed three goals in the final 18 minutes to earn their fifth consecutive league win with a 3-1 victory at home to Macclesfield.The Imps struggled early on and fell behind in the eighth minute to a simple goal. Town skipper Terry Dunfield played the ball over the top of the home defence and Gareth Evans ran on to score.
Macclesfield lost Jonny Brain with a head injury late in the first half but should have made the game safe in the 67th minute. Michael Symes was put clear but failed to hit the target.
Lincoln drew level in the 72nd minute when a header from Mark Stallard came back off the post and Lenny John-Lewis scored from close-range.
City took the lead nine minutes from time when John-Lewis set up Jamie Forrester to slam the ball past substitute goalkeeper Tommy Lee.
The home team added a third goal in stoppage time when John-Lewis capped an excellent performance by opening up the Town defence for Dany N'Guessan to score.
