Toyota today began its second week of testing in Bahrain as Jarno Trulli put in a mammoth total of 141 laps of the Sakhir circuit.

After a sandstorm disrupted last week's work, the three teams in action looked to make up for lost time on a day when air temperatures reached the high 20s.

The team 'made impressive progress' and Trulli made full use of the time available, going through a programme of mechanical and aerodynamic set-up along with tyre comparisons.

The Italian veteran recorded a best lap of 1:33.064s and is in action again for the team on Tuesday.
