Grimsby manager Alan Buckley was frustrated after seeing his side throw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at promotion-chasing Darlington.Martin Butler's quickfire brace put the visitors in front, but Pawel Abbott scored twice himself to level matters before half-time and Tommy Wright's second-half strike sealed the win.
And Buckley said: "I am bitterly disappointed at the way that we lost a two goal lead and we could have had two more in the opening five minutes of the second half.
"They had three shots and our keeper picked the ball out of the net three times.
"Apart from that he didn't have a shot to save. We went behind and then we were chasing the game and we should never have been in that position. We let their two big strikers dominate us and with our experience that shouldn't have happened."
